Weekender from One Man Blogs (2008-9-8 5:44)

The main focus of the past weekend was the engagement party for my sister and her fiancé, and if I’m not mistaken it went without a hitch. It was a self-catered affair in a local bowling green (cheap booze!), the DJ was good, everyone seemed to have a good time and there are rumours that I was spotted on the dancefloor. There may also be rumours that I was seen downing cola flavoured Stiffy’s Shots. Aside from that we’ve done bugger all. Yay!

Theres no beating around the bush here: exterwin I just want to go out of my way and write up something about this whole scenario. Especially directed towards team SF, and exterwin. Did you really think you were gonna get away with those bullshit hacks? I mean cmon, for a good laugh, during last nights scrim with hubris vs sf, we had someone follow exterwin around in spec, to ensure a more accurate g_testspectator POV. This shit was classic guys, he was successfully headshoting and killing people, including myself through trees. TRYING to shoot people through walls, with no avail, might I add. Tracking through walls. His Xhair was snapping to locations where people have not even made themselves visible yet. It was just hilarious. It is also interesting how dumb this kid plays, he acts like he installed a week ago and is struggling to understand how objectives work. But can successfully take down Chump/VtmN/M4ximus/ and myself within a matter of seconds. AMAZING. The ...

Hi all, Need some advise here from all sifus, I am trying to start my first DSLR and was comparing between the 1000D or the 450D. 1000D of course price wise cheaper but stripped down some of the features like no spot metering, only 7 point AF, no eye sensor....etc. These features I found not so crucial as a beginner but am I missing out any crucial feature not available on the 1000D?. Cause with the price difference I can get some other accessories like 3rd party flash. So a bit of dilemma here :-[ and some of my friends even say get the 400D instead if budget a bit tight which to me 1000D is a replacement for 400D. Thanks. gary
